Make the Breast Pump Not Suck
This made me feel good about living in the U.S…except that part about how we are nearly the only country in the world without paid maternity leave…
But seriously, this almost made me choke up at one point. Not sure if a better breast pump would do it or if we need a better culture, but this is a start.
Do We Need to Be Touching?
This is an Internet thing about New York etiquette which is strangely making me feel a bit melancholy. I have yet to learn all these things about Pittsburgh. I’m sure I’m being rude in all sorts of ways I don’t yet realize. I love #49.
Latest Parenting Trend: The CTFD Method
It’s Sunday and I haven’t had time to write anything, but here’s an entertaining Internet thing! A friend shared this with me a while ago. The CTFD Method. Ha.
Okay, Sunday deserves an entertaining video. Can’t post this one fast enough. Cuteness.
Well this video just reduced me to tears. Geez, brought me back to the NICU. Though our babies, born at 33 weeks, were bigger than this to start, the NICU is the NICU. Beautiful video.
We just got back from our 6 month checkup and M and E are now seventeen and a half and eighteen pounds, respectively. It really feels like a miracle.
Did you like this video? You might be interested in this post about a NICU reunion, too:
People With No Kids Don’t Know
Okay I don’t like the title of this one. I don’t think there’s some big division between people with and without kids. But this video cracked me up. The whole part about “getting out of the house”? So funny. Though I thought things were supposed to get easier when the babies get older, not more challenging! 😦
Anyway, a little YouTube entertainment for a lazy Sunday.
