M is taking little steps. Not by herself, but now when you hold her up by both hands and coax her she takes jerky little steps forward. She is working on walking. Above is a sketch of her and D.

Another big step in the first year of life. So much happens so fast you wonder how babies manage to stay ahead of themselves. After walking comes talking and they both seem miraculous. And there’s one more huge one after a long pause – reading. I’m so glad you are blogging their progress. How about a photo or two? I don’t know when I’ll see them next.
